Um grupo de 11 bombeiros militares do Corpo de Bombeiros Militar de Mato Grosso (CBMMT) retornou nesta segunda-feira (03.06) ao Estado, após um mês de atuação no Rio Grande do Sul, prestando apoio às operações de busca, resgate e assistência humanitária em razão das fortes chuvas e enchentes que atingiram a região.
A força-tarefa enviada por Mato Grosso no dia 4 de maio foi composta por profissionais altamente especializados, incluindo mergulhadores, operadores de desastres e dois cães farejadores.
Eles iniciaram os trabalhos no dia 7 de maio, em conjunto com as equipes locais do Corpo de Bombeiros gaúcho.
Durante as operações, os bombeiros de Mato Grosso realizaram 152 ações humanitárias e/ou de Defesa Civil; 44 resgates de pessoas, 16 resgates de animais, localização de dois corpos, recuperação de cinco segmentos de membros, 10 rondas e ações preventivas.
O comandante-geral do CBMMT, coronel Alessandro Borges, recepcionou a equipe no Quartel do Comado Geral, parabenizou pelo trabalho prestado, e afirmou ainda que uma nova equipe irá dar continuidade aos trabalhos no RS.
“Estamos aqui hoje para receber nossa equipe que há cerca de um mês partiu em uma missão de extrema importância para socorrer os nossos irmãos do Rio Grande do Sul, que estavam e ainda estão passando por grandes dificuldades. Essa equipe, composta por mulheres e homens altamente qualificados, competentes e comprometidos, que realizou um trabalho excepcional durante esse período que estiveram no Estado gaúcho. Agora, essa equipe retorna para Mato Grosso, mas o trabalho no Rio Grande do Sul não para, porque um novo grupo irá dar continuidade às ações necessárias até que a situação retorne à normalidade e a reconstrução possa ter início”, disse o comandante.
O major bombeiro militar Anderson Rodrigo da Silva, que comandou a operação no Rio Grande do Sul, agradeceu a oportunidade profissional da missão e destacou que a equipe, atuou com excelência mesmo diante de diversas situações desafiadoras.
“Nossa equipe, atuou com excelência mesmo diante de diversos desafios, como questões psicológicas, de saúde, riscos no local e limitações de tempo. Mas a interação com a população e os outros militares nos fortaleceu ainda mais, mantendo-nos determinados a cumprir a missão. E os resultados são evidentes, os 11 profissionais que partiram não são os mesmos que voltaram. Eles retornaram muito mais experientes e maduros, evoluindo em pouco tempo como se tivessem passado por anos de treinamento. Portanto, é com muita satisfação que eu agradeço e espero que tenhamos conseguido fazer o nosso melhor, de acordo com o que a instituição confiou e esperava de nós”, afirmou o major.
A sargento BM Daiane da Rocha Ribeiro atuou na missão e relatou a dificuldade de ficar longe da família, principalmente em datas especiais como o Dia das Mães, que neste ano passou distante da filha por estar trabalhando na operação.
“Nesse período que ficamos no estado do Rio Grande do Sul, se passou o Dia das Mães e eu sou mãe da Luísa, de 5 anos, e com certeza é muito difícil ficar longe, ainda mais nessas datas especiais. Mas quando a gente escolhe essa profissão, a gente sabe que vai abdicar de muita coisa e essa é a parte dolorida, com certeza. Mas o que compensa é que a família apoia e que a gente sabe que está fazendo algo para o bem maior”, contou a sargento.
O soldado BM Jeferson Correa de Almeida relatou a experiência de participar do resgate de uma família de seis pessoas, incluindo um bebê de 20 dias de nascido e sua mãe que havia passado por uma cesariana.
“Nós estávamos em nossa embarcação, auxiliando pessoas e resgatando animais, quando o irmão desta família solicitou ajuda. Rapidamente nos deslocamos até o local e nos deparamos com uma família de aproximadamente 6 pessoas, incluindo um recém-nascido. Prontamente, realizamos o resgate de todos eles e os levamos para uma área segura. Como pai, a gente fica sentido, comovido com a situação, e como profissional também e a gente tenta dar o nosso melhor sempre e deu tudo certo a gente conseguiu retirar essas pessoas daquela área com segurança”, disse.
Apoio de buscas, combate e salvamento
O Corpo de Bombeiros de Mato Grosso (CBMMT) tem prestado assistência em diversas operações de resgate e combate a emergências, tanto dentro como fora do estado.
Em 2023, o CBMMT enviou equipes especializadas, para auxiliar nas buscas e resgates de pessoas desaparecidas no Rio Grande do Sul, após um forte ciclone extratropical atingir a região.
Anteriormente, em 2019, a corporação também participou das operações de resposta ao rompimento da barragem em Brumadinho, Minas Gerais, onde atuaram nas ações de busca e salvamento.
Já em 2022, o CBMMT deslocou reforços para apoiar as operações após os deslizamentos de terra ocorridos em Petrópolis, no Rio de Janeiro.
Mais recentemente, em 2023, o CBMMT destacou um grupo de bombeiros para colaborar no combate aos incêndios florestais no Canadá.
